The Parkzone SE5a has now been reviewed! Check out the full review and enjoy :)!

Another busy week in the world of RC Airplanes. I've finished putting together 2 planes last night and I am embarking on an awesome build tonight. In the meantime Parkzone announced this week that their newest warbird is going to be a WWI Biplane. I think this came as a shock to most people and only time will tell how the airplane is received. The Parkzone Biplane comes in either a PnP or Bnf version retailing for $184 or $249 respectively. The Parkzone SE5a is due to hit store shelves in early July. One month of waiting and she can be yours!

In the meantime enjoy this sneak peek video!

First off I have finally finished The Trojan Tree in the Triumphs and Follies section. You should read it, it is super happy fun times!

In other news the RC Airplane season has begun! Things are busy here and airplanes are stacking up in anticipation of being reviewed!

Here is a short list of planes being tested, flown and reviewed:

J3 Piper Cub

Extra 300

Airfield P-51 (the new version)

Grand Cruiser

F-18 EDF

Texan AT6

Mini - T-28 Trojan

A10 Warthog

And something very big....very cool...and very exciting that will hopefully come this week and be flown over the Memorial Day Holiday!

In the meantime we had a good weekend flying. Thursday night was a rough night for the RC Airplanes as there must have been a strong vortex sucking them out of the sky. Several planes were lost and destroyed that night...may their remains bring life to a new model.

Other than all of that I am still waiting and wanting the Eflite Hawker Hurricane, the Airfield T-28, the Hobby King Lancaster and several other models that seem to be in a perpetual state of being pushed back from their original release dates. C'mon airplane manufacturers! The sun is finally coming out and we want to play :)

Horizon Hobby has finally released some video of their upcoming Hawker Hurricane. This plane looks great and it is nice to see some footage of it in the air. The 25e warbird will come with split flaps, 6 metal gear servos, a 25-size 1000kv motor and a 60amp ESC. With those specs I assume it rips at full speed. Only time will tell and we will have to wait until late June or early July before this bird is in our hands. Stay tuned for more information and the review!

For now, please enjoy the video:

Hobby Lobby Easter Eggs! Print E-mail
Saturday, 23 April 2011 00:16

Hobby Lobby is giving away prizes and discounts on their website this weekend as a part of Easter. I found the first pink egg.

I suggest going to the Senior Telemaster Plus (OVERSIZE) page and you will see the egg, click on it and you will receive a goody!

If you go to the A6M5c Zero, EPO Arf page you will find the multi-colored egg with a super great deal behind it!

I will update the page as I find them. :)

Happy Easter!
